Be prepared to provide your previous medical or surgical history and a list of your current medication.
If you have copies of any relevant xrays, MRI or other scans or reports please bring them along with you.

After an initial consultation and a thorough assessment, your chiropractor will discuss a bespoke treatment and management plan with you.

A t-shirt and a pair of shorts or leggings would be appropriate in most cases. However, you may need to wear a patient gown depending on the area being treated and if acupuncture (Dry Needling) is required as part of the treatment.
You will be required to remove your shoes.
You may need to remove your socks if your feet are being treated.

Chiropractors can assess and treat without referral by a doctor
However some health insurers may require a doctors referral before they can authorise cover of Chiropractic fees while others may only require a phone call. Please check with your health care provider for their arrangement for covering the cost.
