Radiography
Samera is a qualified Diagnostic Radiographer who specialises in general radiography, mobile and theatre radiography as well as Fluoroscopy. Samera also has training in Dual-Energy Xray Absorptiometry (DEXA) scanning which is a bone density scan looking at bone densities in relation to osteoporosis. Given her DEXA knowledge, Samera was involved in a research study measuring the bone density levels of Bath Rugby players and whether their training and / or diet could be modified to help improve their bone density thus limiting the chances of fracturing their bones through the high impact sport.
Chiropractic
Samera is a qualified Chiropractor and has been working in a private practice since 2014. Samera provides her patients with the best available evidence based Chiropractic health care. Samera is committed to updating her knowledge with latest research and guidelines by attending regular postgraduate training course.
Samera has a keen interest in raising awareness about the importance of spinal health, good posture and the general health and well-being. Samera has therefore been involved in delivering a lot of health talks around different work place settings to help prevent work related injuries and improve work productivity
